 This is one of the closest attractions to our home, and young kids absolutely love it. Friendly farmhands keep things moving on the two-hour guided tour of Green Meadows Petting Farm - a 40-acre property with over 300 animals. There's little chance to get bored, and no waiting in line because tours are always starting. Everyone who wants to gets to milk the fat mama cow, and chickens and geese are turned loose in their yard to run and squawk while city slickers try to catch them.
Kids take a quick pony ride, and everyone gets jostled about on the old-fashioned hayride. Kids come away saying: "I milked a cow, caught a chicken, pet a pig, and fed a goat."
Tours of the farm are daily from 9:30am till 4:00pm. Farm stays open until 5:00pm daily.
Plan to spend at least a couple of hours at Green Meadows. Especially if you have young kids aged up to 8 years - because they won't want to leave.
We suggest that you might like to take a picnic with you - as there are picnic areas at the Farm to enjoy.
Make sure you make the time to travel on the Green Meadows Express Train - it's not very express, but great family fun!
Turn right onto Poincianna from the 192 and drive about 2 miles to Green Meadow Petting Farm.
Ample free parking is provided on site.
Tickets are available at the entrance of this attraction.
