 The
West Side is the newest addition to Downtown Disney. It
has many restaurants and shops to visit as well as two
unique experiences.
DisneyQuest
is Disney virtual theme park. There are several floors
of high tech toys to play with. If you are on a Disney
vacation package admission is usually included, so stop
by and check it out.
Cirque
du Soleil is the other unique experience at the West Side.
Well worth booking and seeing in our opinion. However,
Westside is lots more besides. There's a wonderful mixture
of upscale stores offering all sorts of goods and exciting
adventures. Try out the magic store, where they will demonstrate
the tricks before you buy (this is almost a free show in
itself, and gets particularly busy when it rains!). Or,
if you have a sweet tooth, go to the Candy Factory in Westside
and buy a toffee apple (it'll last for ages). There's a
cigar emporium, and fridge magnet shop, a memorabilia shop
and art gallery, along with stalls that ell pretzels, drinks
and ice creams.
Still not enough to tempt you? - then how about the biggest
Virgin Megastore in the World? 2 floors of music, video,
DVD, books, and a coffee shop that overlooks the main walkway
of Westside. Or if you want to get the latest from Hollywood,
you won't want to miss a session in the 24 theatre AMC complex
just opposite Virgin.
Shops at Downtown Disney Westside are open daily from 9:00am

Follow Highway 192 to the Disney World Drive and follow the
signs.
Ample free parking is provided for all guests visiting Downtown
Disney Westside, Disney Village Marketplace, or Pleasure
