 The smell of curry and spices wafting from the kitchen and the tinkling sounds of Indian music and sitars tell you you've entered the real thing - an authentic Indian restaurant.
The ingredients at New Punjab are always fresh, and the dishes prepared with care. Chicken with spinach, spicy lamb curry, or the vegetarian platter receive high ratings.
New Punjab also excels at chicken and vegetarian Tandoori. Interestingly enough, the menu also features a few Thai items. The vegetarian items also make it a welcome respite from the char-grilled options permeating most touristy restaurants.
Now, as most people know, the best place for curry dishes is supposedly in Britain - but having tried the New Punjab - we're not so sure anymore!
Now, the curry's are not quite like we expect in the local Balti House in the UK, but considering its America these curry's are pretty good!
