Think of Florida and you will probably imagine theme parks and sunshine but there is so much more to this wonderful southern state. A 45 minute drive from Disney takes you to countryside very similar to the UK with rolling hills and oak trees. Here you are in horse breading country. Travel south and take an airboat ride across the Everglades or take advantage of some of the best shopping opportunities in the USA. Or after just an hours journey you can be at the coast, and can do some deep sea fishing, we went out with a guy called Captain Phil, and can highly recommend you try them out.

Temperatures remain warm and comfortable in the winter and can average around 95 degrees in the southern areas of the state during the summer. You can enjoy your holiday in Florida any time of the year and is an ideal getaway if you want to avoid the worst of our winter. There are over 800 miles of beaches around the coastline of Florida but the best of these are generally regarded to be along the Gulf Coast.

For twelve months of the year the golfing enthusiast will find Florida golf courses open and challenging.

And when the day is over then you have a wonderful choice of restaurants and bars in which to relax, enjoy a wonderful meal and get ready for the excitement that tomorrow will bring.
