Southern Dunes Golf & Country Club is a gated community built around a championship golf course, ranked among the TOP 100 in the US and rated 4 stars by Golf Digest. There are also many other golf courses nearby.
Within the community you can find swimming pools with indoor gyms, a library, tennis courts, a fishing and boating lake, a children’s play area and the golf club has its own luxurious Club House with bar and restaurant (which also provides a take away service).
Within walking distance there is a Wal-Mart Superstore, a Winn Dixie Marketplace, a Dollar Tree, a bank, Taco Bell and a Chevron Service Station. Over the road there is a Blockbuster Store, Burger King, McDonalds, KFC, Checkers, Chinese Restaurant and a Walgreens pharmacy.
Tampa and Busch Gardens and the Gulf coast beaches including Saint Pete and Clearwater can all be reached in about a 70 minute drive while to the east, The Kennedy Space Centre, Cocoa beach and Daytona beach on the Atlantic coast can be reached in about an hours drive.
